It is reasonable that the surface questions about weight loss diets of HCG, as they arise to any diet program. The mention of the injections, which limits the activity, and a grant from the daily diet of 500 calories, of course, should a person want to investigate further. Here are a couple of issues that have emerged from people who read about the HCG diet. Firstly, why only 500 calories allowed to use? That can be enough for a person to live, right? When this diet was instituted, the food alone will not be the only source of energy. In addition, it must come from somewhere else. Elsewhere that is within reason to take a diet in the first place: the fat. This fat is essentially reflected in the excessive consumption of food over time. It stays in the body as an energy source for possible attacks of hunger. HCG diet exploit those pockets of body fat and use them as a food source delay. Overall, the limited food intake and fat accumulated as a source of sufficient energy. As we have all learned, if a person leaves this fat remains through any amount of time, become prone to a host of medical conditions. Second, is the use of HCG injections needed to implement this diet? The hormone HCG diet is necessary for the job. Traditionally, needles have been an integral part of this method of diet such as the ship on which the administration of the hormone precision. Today, many dieters needle use HCG. When used correctly, are extremely effective and are so small that only causes a feeling pinch at the insertion. For those weary of needles, however, a new form of HCG is available, which is homeopathic oral drops that are administered under the tongue. They have been shown to be as effective as injections, so these are also an option. Thirdly, should not exercise is a critical component of any diet? With some weight loss programs, a ton of exercise is essential to its effectiveness. With the HCG diet, activity is allowed, but excessive activity should be avoided. This is due to burning more calories than it provides can lead to feelings of tiredness or weakness. The hormone HCG is not working most weight loss when used in diet, exercise. As questions arise with any diet, do it with HCG diet programs. Over time, these questions have been answered by a large group of people who are dieting practices. The information is very valuable experience for those investigating the methods of dieting.

Few commercialized areas of science are so filled with myths as that focused on weight loss. Everyone wants a simple, safe, no-willpower solution. Someday, we may actually get one. For now there are no magic cures. But there are quite a few myths that need to be exploded. You may have read this one: eating ice cream actually causes weight loss. The so-called theory is that since ice cream is cold, and it takes energy (measured in calories) to warm it up, your body is consuming energy while eating. Your body does certainly require energy to warm up ice cream, and even to digest it. Any action the body takes requires energy, that’s basic physics applied to physiology. But the devil is in the details. Eating ice cream, usually high in fat and sugar, takes in far more calories than are used to warm and digest it. Sorry, you still need to go easy on the dessert. Sometimes ice water is substituted in the myth. True it has no calories, so you’re much better off. But the energy needed to warm it to body temperature is negligible in terms of the weight loss effect. However, sometimes you feel hungry when in fact the body is just slightly dehydrated. Drinking water can cause you to feel less hungry, and it’s much lower in calories than regular soda or even orange juice. Or, you might have heard this one: adding a pound of muscle makes the body burn an extra 50 calories. Not only not true, but meaningless. ‘Burns 50 calories’ over how long? Just sitting consumes about 70 calories per hour. The body is consuming energy to maintain internal temperature, repair cells, pump blood, etc. A pound of new muscle will burn at most a dozen calories per hour. Still, adding muscle is a good idea, since to do so requires high effort – either through running, weight training or other vigorous exercise. Mild exercise, such as walking, is good but tones more than builds muscle. The average man will burn about 350 calories in an hour long workout. Vigorous exercise also raises the metabolic rate for a day, burning about 250 calories more than if one hadn’t exercised. A brisk walk will do so also, but at a much lower level. It’s still a good idea to workout every other day and walk on the non-workout days. It keeps the muscles toned, stretched and helps prevent the lactic acid buildup that causes sore muscles. The reality is that if you take in more calories than your body uses the remaining energy is stored, generally in the form of chemical bonds in fatty tissues. When the body requires more energy that you’ve supplied, it will turn to those fat stores in order to get some needed energy. That leads to lower fat in the body and weight loss. That reality is best achieved by the old-fashioned combination of proper diet and adequate regular exercise.

Three, two one. . . . corks popping, fireworks going off, people singing Auld Lang Syne, while others are making vows to stop eating chocolate, drinking and so on. Every year people make their new year’s resolutions and a lot consists of wanting to lose those extra pounds, especially now the Christmas season has passed and you have accumulated even extra pounds to shed, by starting that healthy lifestyle or joining a gym. But after a short while all these good intentions go out the window. Why does this happen? Most times these resolutions just have not been thought through properly. These are spur of the moment or even desperate measures that you think are going to get the extra weight off and you back into a healthy lifestyle. You may decide for the month of January you will avoid alcohol, chocolates and start back at the gym, running again or adding some kind of exercise back to your daily routine. And yes you may stick with this for the month however, there are eleven more months in the year. What happens with these? Slowly you start going back to your old habits, going out with friends as you can go to the gym tomorrow but tomorrow brings something else and so the old routine starts again. I am not saying that you have to give up going out with friends or never having chocolate again, but to lose those extra pounds you need to take a look at your established eating habits and lifestyle, then make the necessary changes to get the desired results. You may want to think about what you want to change and how much weight you want to lose and set reasonable goals. You can not expect to lose weight quickly and keep it off. It has to be gradual for it to work effectively. Fad diets or extreme measures such as avoiding temptation by avoiding going out will only lead to you craving these items more and being unhappy with yourself when you do not achieve your wish. What is the most effective way to control your weight but not have to starve yourself or avoid the foods you love? Being healthy should not interfere with your social life to the point that you stay home being miserable rather than going out with friends. I don’t know about you but I am tired of turning on the telly and all the commercials going on about what we should eat, or about how to control our weight by joining this program or that. Or seeing the headlines about this star or that who claims they have the secret to keeping thin by . . . . . What do we follow? Which program do we buy into? Who’s detox or diet book should we follow? The one who has the higher advertising budget, so we see it more often? Where do we turn for help? One of the best programs I have found is the one that explains how the body functions and what to do to keep it healthy. Understanding how our body works and how it uses food and in what combinations will help you understand and control your weight. Learning which foods to eat that will help you lose weight and which ones that cause weight gain will help you achieve your goal of losing weight and having a healthier lifestyle. A good program which explains, not only the different food groups and the correct combination to eat them in, it also explains the importance of portion size and this can be found at u2canloseit. com.

It almost seems as if there’s a new fad diet every week. Many of them contain elements of truth, but in general contain much more good marketing of good science. It is not the 3 day diet, which touts eating little more than fruits for three days, followed by vegetables or meat or grains the other days. There are many variations. While it is true that eating fruit regularly is key to good health – most contain needed carbohydrates, vitamins and fiber – eating almost exclusively fruit for three days, leads to an imbalance – in carbohydrates, fiber and other healthy components. To some extent, the body balances and store what you need for later, but there are limits.Similarly, the “low-carb, high protein diets, like Atkins, recommend reducing carbohydrate intake and eat lots of foods rich in protein. Also in this case the protein is essential for proper nutrition, but so are carbohydrates. Too much emphasis on the former over the latter leads to fast temporary weight loss, but at high cost.Carbohydrates are essential for the provision of energy for all biochemical processes. Although the body, where necessary, use other sources such as fats and proteins.Too much emphasis on protein reduces the body’s ability to store and regulate the proper amount of water, whereas carbohydrates help that. There are very attractive sound diet of chocolate. Almost everyone loves chocolate and, contrary to some reports a few years ago, is healthy – in moderation.Chocolate contains antioxidants and other compounds that are useful. But as with anything, too much of something good is just that – too. Moreover, since many processed chocolate in forms that come with a high fat, high sugar amount that is not possible to have elements of aid, along with the good. There are ultra-low-fat diet. Again, the problem is not reduced fat, but going to extremes. A certain amount of fat in the diet is healthy.Any diet which makes promises of radical weight loss, fast or quick – or any other extreme claim – is almost certain to be more harmful than helpful. The human body has evolved over millions of years and decades of good nutritional research still confirms the common sense truth: balance is good, moderation is healthy.Eat moderate portions at regular intervals of fruits and vegetables (for vitamins, carbohydrates and fiber), grains (for carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and fiber), protein (amino acids) and dairy (calcium, unless you are intolerant lactose). For the average person, between 2000-2500 calories per day is appropriate. Less for women, on average, and for those looking for quick weight loss.A balanced diet, along with age appropriate exercise, moderate and regular, will lead to a good percentage of body fat, toning muscles and a well tuned. You’ll find you feel better and look good.

We have a diet using negative calories. The main idea is that our body uses more calories to digest some foods that we know the calories foods contain themselves by analyzing the combination of nutritional components of specific foods. If you burn more calories we eat, then we will lose weight. The theory is in fact very appealing: the body has to consume energy to digest food. For example, an orange has about 50 calories. To process all nutritional components and vitamins that an orange contains, our body burns calories more than just 50.The negative calorie diet is using a solution that can use some specific periods, when our body is overwhelmed with nutrition, like holidays, Christmas, New Year, birthdays, weddings, and less of a solution that can be used in long term. Some experts say that losing weight is given mainly by the loss of parts of the muscle tissue, which is not recommended at all.So if you decide to use the diet with negative calories keep in mind:1 – Make sure it is done in a period your body has too many calories and not stored and is affecting their health by doing this.2 – Ask a doctor if you can resist eating such foods only nutritious and also ask that the deadline for this diet, if so you can avoid getting sick.3 – Try to combine as much as he can not eat just oranges or other fruits that contain citric acid, since they are not good for your stomach activity when eaten in large quantities.4 – Check your calendar for the days you want to use this diet and make sure that we have important things to do or stressful. Stress also causes caloric burn and weight reduction and if it occurs in a diet that weakens the body can feel physically powerless. If such a thing happens give up the diet and eat something with many calories and glucoses fast.If all the above points are checked and passed you can start a negative calories diet and give a chance to actually eating something instead of taking slim pills and drinking tea.For more information on diets and weight loss visit: http://www. ydiets. com

No wonder that many people wonder why fad diets are bad when they seem to get results. You will find many sites on the internet claiming significant weight loss in just a few days. That kind of weight loss is always temporary. Generally, 90% water which will be back as soon as it hydrates your body, what to do if you’re not going to suffer serious health problems or die. Other fad diets are not so obviously crash diets with outrageous claims, but are more exaggerated diet plans that tend to be fashionable for a while and usually make a lot of money for the inventor in associated product sales . In the best case is a good nutrition plan to help you lose weight, but probably could have obtained for free from your doctor. In the worst case will be so hard to continue to be given after one week. The evil fashion diets1. Weight loss diets that promise quick and easy meal is usually based on more than one type of food and not otherwise. These do not provide the benefits to be gained from a balanced diet. It may suggest taking supplements to the supplements, but many are not absorbed by the body unless it is taken with foods that the diet has banned. After a few weeks, if we stick to what ever you can begin to develop nutritional deficiencies. 2. Fad diets are often boring and over restrictive. After the novelty of the first day or two, you do not enjoy their meals. Then start to want food and break the diet constantly. They may even feel guilty, thinking it is your fault that you did not lose weight. 3. Most fad diets do not follow the recommendations of the American Heart Association and similar bodies in the levels of fat in the diet. It is often recommended diet foods low in fat and carbohydrates than when taken long term, could result in heart disease. The promoters may tell you that diet is only intended to be followed by a short time. But probably not reach your goal weight in that time, and then what? You can either continue with a plan that is not good for your health, or stop and probably get back what you lost. 4. Many fad diets do not help to incorporate enough servings of fruits and vegetables in your weight loss program, or give you the variety of foods your body needs. 5. Diets rapid weight loss are only a temporary solution and does not help to make permanent changes in their eating habits. Permanent changes are the only way to maintain your ideal weight once it is reached. Fad diets encourage yo-yo dieting, cycles of excess and rapid weight loss weight gain just as fast. This is worse for your health and self-esteem, if you had stayed overweight at all times. Whatever the publicity materials may say, these diets will not help in the long run. The best way to maintain weight loss is to eat a varied and healthy diet, not overeating, exercise regularly and avoid fad diets.Article Source: http://blogatme. com/2008/09/05/fad-diets-why-are-they-bad /

For every 100 dieters, is to maintain their weight loss after 5 years, which is the marker for the determination of permanent weight loss the medical community. Research indicates that diets actually add pounds in the long term. Why diets so destructive to our weight and health? Here are a few reasons.1. Severe restriction of food causes hunger for truth. It is a fact that most diets usually last less than 72 hours. Hunger is a basic human need. The man continues to live (and for thousands of years) due to the ability to cope with famine and food shortages. Hunger has been a great motivator for survival.2. A diet is an artificial scheme that is different from your lifestyle. Her new diet book has pages and pages of recipes, but you do not like cooking. Their diet says you must prepare all their food, but your job requires you to entertain clients. Only you can set limits around food and make them work within their lifestyle.3. A diet is a temporary solution to a permanent problem. The diet industry makes billions (yes, more than $ 42 billion per year) to convince people to follow a diet for a couple of weeks or months to resolve the emotional life of eat, eat for the wrong reasons, or eating food is nutrition less. When you finish the diet, the weight returns because problems and behaviors are still there. Maybe you pulled on the dress of the maid of honor in time for the wedding, but you still have the rest of your life before you.A first step to success is to accept that there is no free ride. If you lose weight on a strict diet, always pay later.4. One diet does not take into account their likes and dislikes. If your diet cabbage soup recipe and do not like cabbage, you’re in serious trouble. Or you limited to high-protein foods, but your body does not readily digests protein. If you really eat into an unnatural shape that causes pain and suffering? No.Look at the big picture and make decisions that support their goals. Following another person rules can also put you at risk for new health problems that you do not need.5. It follows a one size fits all diet is not likely to be useful for everyone. You are unique. Different people need different amounts of protein, carbohydrates and fat to feel and act in their best. No diet can guarantee that you will feel good while after that, no dietitian or nutritionist can find out what makes you feel energetic and balanced. Only you can determine what pattern of food consumption remains strong sense.6. Food cravings are real. The body produces cravings for a reason. They are not real, productive cravings for things that your body needs (like water), and are counterproductive cravings that come from psychological causes. It is not difficult to train yourself to recognize differences and act accordingly. A little moderation goes a long way.7. Diets created feelings of deprivation and punishment. The psychological aspects of diet can be devastating. Diets are often used as self-torture, to “validate” negative feelings or deep dent in your sense of worth. Remember that diet is not, not you.8. Diet puts emphasis only on food.A study by Baylor University 1995 after three groups of participants who wanted to lose weight over a period of two years: (1) Only the diet group, (2) of the diet / exercise group, and (3) exercise-only group. After 3 months, the only diet and nutrition and exercise groups had lost more than the exercise group only. The exercise group showed only a minor loss of 4-8 pounds. In the 12-month mark, the Alone diet and nutrition and exercise groups had lost weight again more total than the exercise group, only that it had gained back some weight of his 3-month mark . (In simple terms, they lost all that weight will be lost very quickly, within 3 months, and now regaining weight lost weight.)In the 2-year mark, the only diet and nutrition and exercise groups were returned to their original weight or more. The only exercise group continued to lose weight. It is a variation of the tortoise and the hare. A good question might be: “Where do I want to be in two years?”Putting the emphasis on food makes us believe food is the issue and that if exchange for food, we will achieve permanent weight loss. This is simply not true. Changing our behavior with food is the key.9. Dieting promotes weight loss, fat loss. The number of scale can be lowered with a severely restricted diet plan, but it is only a temporary change of non fat from your body (water, muscle, interstitial tissue and organs, and even the volume of blood). The real question: Do you want to lower the number on the scale or permanently burn fat?The long-term health lies in the loss of fat, which can only occur in 1 / 2 to 2 pounds per week. This is why rapid weight loss is always followed by rapid weight gain.10. Dieting leads to new problems or the compounds of the ancients. If you are concerned with their weight and health, which needs no further problems. Many popular diets cause fatigue, low energy, sleeplessness, depression, stress and erratic mood swings. Who needs that, especially when the stress of the diet does not solve the weight problem permanently?Your best indicator that you’re eating, here’s how you feel. Your best approach to weight loss is an individual who has preferences, lifestyle, needs and attitudes into account.Be kind to your body. It is the only one who’ll ever have. Give the fuel and the exercise they need on a consistent basis – and then remain at a comfortable weight, reasonable.

Most of the fad diets focus on low fat, low calorie or high protein diets, all in the hope of controlling yuor weight. However in a recent recommendation by The American Diabetes Association (ADA) was noted in the Medical Nutrition Therapy section dealing with weight loss. Until now, the ADA has not recommend low carbohydrate diets because of lack of sufficient scientific evidence supporting their safety and effectiveness. The 2008 Recommendations include a statement recognizing the increasing evidence that weight-loss plans that restrict carbohydrate or fat calorie intake are equally effective for reducing weight in the short term (up to one year) only, but not over the long term. In addition, there is now evidence that the most important determinant of weight loss is not the composition of the diet, but whether the person can stick with it, and that some individuals are more likely to adhere to a low carbohydrate diet while others may find a low fat calorie-restricted diet easier to follow. However, how long the person can stick to this diet comes into the picture. As it has in the past, the ADA continues to emphasize the importance of sustained, moderate weight loss and increased physical activity for people who are overweight or obese and at risk for diabetes or living with diabetes. Dr Ann Albright, President, Health Care & Education, American Diabetes Association said, “The risks of overweight and obesity are well known. We recognize that people are looking for realistic ways to lose weight. The evidence is clear that both low-carbohydrate and low-fat calorie restricted diets result in similar weight loss at one year. We’re not endorsing either of these weight-loss plans over any other method of losing weight. What we want health care providers to know is that it’s important for patients to choose a plan that works for them, and that the health care team support their patients’ weight loss efforts and provide appropriate monitoring of patients’ health. “ Peopl on low carbohydrate diets may replace calories from carbohydrate with fat or protein. High protein diets may also worsen kidney problems. Therefore, it is also recommended that patients with kidney disease be counseled about appropriate intake of protein and that their kidney functions be monitored carefully. Dr Albright further said, “Short-term weight loss is beneficial, but what is most important for health is keeping the weight off long-term. We also want to continue to emphasize the importance of regular physical activity, both to aid weight loss from calorie-restricted diets, and also for the positive health gains associated with exercise that are independent of weight loss. “ Being overweight or obese and inactive are major contributing factors to the onset of type 2 diabetes. Overweight and obesity also complicate the treatment of diabetes (both type 1 and type 2) and can contribute to the development of other health problems, such as heart disease and cancer.
