David Elmore Smith was 630 pounds when he met Chris Powell in June of 2003. They made a pact to show the nation that the human body can lose weight safely and naturally. Using alternating patterns of nutrition delivery, daily movement and new lifestyle patterns, David lost a remarkable 401 lbs in just over 2 years. He is now a personal trainer and in the best shape of his life. This is the story of their journey…
The trainer is a really really good and kind hearted man. People like him give me faith in the world.
I’ve been abused, too. And I wasn’t my own best friend. I’m better today, though. But now I have 40 pounds overweight. People treat you different when you’re overweight. I am 63 years old, and I don’t feel like I can lose it anymore.

You’re an idiot.
If what you’re saying is true, then how come Chris stood by this guy all the way, provided him with not only a fitness program but emotional support, and on top of it all never charged him a dime?
wow I just watched this, It had my interest the whole way through. good stuff.
I am on hte opposite side of that spectrum I was a lean mean 250 lb bodybuilder and after hurting my back i gained 200 lbs and now at 450 lbs i am where he was I just can seem to pick myself up and move on.
do it the right way, dont cut calories alot. Read burn the fat feed the muscle, it helps alot! Prevents lose skin and loss of muscle mass during weight loss.
